The National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange have both declared a trading holiday on January 22. According to the the press releases issued by both the exchanges “January 22, 2024 as a trading holiday on account of public holiday declared under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 vide RBI press release 2023-2024/1716 dated January 19, 2024 as attached.”
BSE further clarified that Exchange shall observe Trading Holiday on January 22,2024 in Currency Derivatives (including cross currency and interest rate derivatives), NDS-RST and Tri Party Repo too.
There will be a special trading session on January 20, Saturday.
